First of all we have swords, staffs, axes, hammers and bows – the fairly normal sort of weaponry. Most popular wands: shape (nobody used this wand) That way, I can compare last year’s wand fashion with this year’s. In addition, I used overlords in my previous article, so it makes sense to do so this time as well.
As such, they’re the perfect group to collect data from! Overlords spend a lot of time in the Arena and are probably hyperaware of this. Your look is one of the things you get judged on, besides your gear and your strategy.
People who spend a lot of time in the Arena usually want to look fashionable doing it. Why overlords and not just anyone I ran into? These overlords were collected during November and December of 2017. The few warlords I asked for a reason told me that PvP has gotten more difficult and that they’re happy as soon as they get the warlord badge. I had a little bit more trouble finding overlords this time around! So many people seem to get to warlord (900) and stop there and then. An overlord is a warlord with more than 1000 rank.
